Air Fryer Turkey Breast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (2.5 lb) turkey breast, skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Thoroughly pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, and smoked paprika to form a wet rub.
  3. Apply the rub evenly over the entire surface of the turkey breast, ensuring the seasoning reaches under the skin where possible.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (177°C).
  5. Place the turkey breast in the air fryer basket, skin-side up.
  6. Cook for 20 minutes, then flip the breast to ensure even heat distribution.
  7. Continue cooking for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  8. Transfer the turkey to a cutting board and allow it to rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow juices to redistribute before slicing.
