Add the melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for at least 10 minutes to set before moving to a wire rack.
