Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons extra -virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon hone y

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius).
  2. Place trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts on a large rimmed baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  4. Toss the sprouts until evenly coated and spread them in a single layer, cut-side down, to maximize browning.
  5. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the sprouts are tender and the outer leaves are crisp and charred.
  6. While sprouts roast, whisk together balsamic vinegar and honey in a small bowl.
  7. Remove the pan from the oven and drizzle the balsamic mixture over the sprouts.
  8. Toss to coat and return to the oven for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the glaze has thickened.
  9. Transfer to a serving dish and serve warm.
