Classic Banana Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large ripe banana, peeled
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon hone y
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Peel the banana and segment into 1-inch pieces.
  2. Combine banana segments, milk, Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and ice cubes in a high-speed blender carafe.
  3. Secure the lid and initiate blending at a low speed, gradually increasing to maximum velocity.
  4. Process for approximately 45 to 60 seconds or until the suspension is homogenous and no ice particulates remain.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a chilled glass and serve immediately to maintain optimal viscosity and temperature.
