Cottage Cheese Pizza Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup low -fat cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup low -sodium marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 10 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Place the cottage cheese into a microwave-safe bowl and stir in the garlic powder and dried oregano.
  2. Spread the marinara sauce in an even layer over the top of the cottage cheese.
  3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the marinara sauce.
  4. Arrange the turkey pepperoni slices and red pepper flakes on top of the cheese.
  5. Microwave on high for 90 to 120 seconds, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the cottage cheese is heated through.
  6. Let the bowl stand for 1 minute before consuming to allow the temperature to stabilize.
