Garlic Tahini Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 0.5 cup tahin i
  • 0.33 cup warm water
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup

Method
 

  1. Combine the minced garlic and lemon juice in a bowl and let sit for 5 minutes to neutralize the raw garlic flavor.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, add the tahini, salt, pepper, and maple syrup.
  3. Whisk the lemon-garlic mixture into the tahini paste; the mixture will initially seize and become thick.
  4. Gradually whisk in the warm water one tablespoon at a time until the dressing achieves a smooth, pourable consistency.
  5. Store in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
