High-Protein Strawberry Pretzel Salad Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup mini pretzels, roughly crushed
  • 1 cup non -fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup low -fat cottage cheese, blended until smooth
  • 1 scoop (31g) vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar -free maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Place cottage cheese in a high-speed blender and process until completely smooth with no remaining curds.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blended cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, and sugar-free syrup. Whisk until the protein powder is fully incorporated and the texture is uniform.
  3. Macerate the sliced strawberries by letting them sit in a separate small bowl for 5 minutes to release natural juices.
  4. Reserve one tablespoon of crushed pretzels for topping.
  5. Place the remaining crushed pretzels at the base of a serving bowl.
  6. Layer the protein cream mixture over the pretzel base.
  7. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the cream layer.
  8. Garnish with the reserved crushed pretzels immediately before consumption to prevent moisture absorption and maintain texture.
