Honey Garlic Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup hone y
  • 0.25 cup low -sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon sal t
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarc h
  • 1 tablespoon cold water

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken cubes with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown on all sides and cooked through, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the honey garlic sauce mixture into the skillet with the chicken and stir to coat.
  6. In a small cup, whisk the cornstarch and cold water together to create a slurry.
  7. Pour the slurry into the skillet and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze.
  8. Remove from heat and serve over rice or vegetables.
