  • 2 medium overripe bananas, peeled and sliced

Method
 

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into 1/2-inch thick coins.
  2. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet or in a freezer-safe container.
  3. Freeze the banana slices for at least 2 hours, or until completely solid.
  4. Place the frozen banana slices into a high-speed blender or food processor.
  5. Pulse the bananas until they reach a crumbly texture, then blend continuously on high speed.
  6. Scrape down the sides of the container periodically until the mixture transforms into a smooth and creamy soft-serve consistency.
  7. Serve immediately for soft-serve or freeze for an additional 30 minutes for a firmer, scoopable texture.
