Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash the green beans and pat them completely dry with a kitchen towel to ensure proper roasting.
  3. On a large rimmed baking sheet, toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the green beans in a single, even layer on the baking sheet to prevent steaming.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, tossing halfway through the cooking time, until tender-crisp and slightly blistered.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice immediately before serving.
