Method
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, yogurt, and skim milk.
- Grate the fresh apple into the bowl, including the skin but excluding the core.
- Add the honey and lemon juice to the mixture and stir thoroughly to combine.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the mixture to an airtight container.
- Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight to allow the oats to soften and absorb the liquids.
- Before serving, stir the oats and garnish with chopped nuts and fresh berries.
