Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Blanch the green beans for 3 to 4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
Transfer the beans to an ice water bath immediately, then drain and pat thoroughly dry.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
Add the blanched green beans to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter.
Sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until the beans are heated through and beginning to blister slightly.
Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice before serving.
