Method
- Place mint leaves and 1 lime wedge into a sturdy highball glass.
- Muddle the mint and lime gently to release the oils and juice without tearing the leaves.
- Add two more lime wedges and the sweetener, and muddle again to extract the citrus juice.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Pour the white rum over the ice.
- Top the glass with club soda.
- Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine the ingredients.
- Garnish with the remaining lime wedge and an optional mint sprig.
