Smoked Salmon Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces smoked salmon, flaked or finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons capers , drained
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely minced

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth.
  2. Stir in the lemon juice, chopped dill, horseradish, and black pepper until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the flaked smoked salmon, capers, and minced red onion to maintain texture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, toasted baguette slices, or vegetable crudités.
