Snickerdoodle Overnight Oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup old -fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Method
 

  1. In a wide-mouth glass jar, whisk together the rolled oats, ground cinnamon, and sea salt.
  2. Add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond butter to the dry ingredients.
  3. Stir vigorously or seal and shake the container until the mixture is homogenous and no dry clumps remain.
  4. Secure the lid and refrigerate the mixture for a minimum of 6 hours, ideally overnight, to allow the oats to fully hydrate.
  5. Before consumption, stir the oats to redistribute moisture and garnish with an additional dusting of cinnamon if desired.
