Tahini Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup creamy tahini
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup vanilla whey or plant-based protein powder
  • 3/4 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the creamy tahini and maple syrup until well combined and smooth.
  2. Add the protein powder, oat flour, and sea salt to the bowl.
  3. Stir with a spatula until a thick, cohesive dough forms. If the mixture is too crumbly, add water one teaspoon at a time until it holds together.
  4. Gently fold in the mini dark chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Scoop approximately one tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll between your palms to form a uniform ball.
  6. Place the finished protein balls on a parchment-lined plate or tray.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up before serving.
