Tuna Everything Bagel

Ingredients
  

  • 1 everything bagel , sliced
  • 1 can (5 oz) skipjack or albacore tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnais e
  • 1 tablespoon celery , finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon red onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 leaf green leaf lettuce
  • 2 slices tomat o

Method
 

  1. Place the drained tuna in a small mixing bowl and flake with a fork.
  2. Add mayonnaise, diced celery, minced red onion, lemon juice, and black pepper to the bowl; mix until well combined.
  3. Toast the everything bagel halves in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. Spread the tuna mixture evenly across the bottom half of the toasted bagel.
  5. Layer the tomato slices and lettuce leaf over the tuna.
  6. Place the top half of the bagel over the lettuce and serve immediately.
