Vanilla Overnight Oats

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup old -fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Method
 

  1. In a mason jar or airtight container, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, and chia seeds.
  2. Add the vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt to the mixture.
  3. Stir or shake vigorously until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated and no clumps of oats or chia seeds remain.
  4. Seal the container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or ideally overnight (8 hours).
  5. Before serving, stir the oats once more and add a splash of milk if a thinner consistency is desired.
