Whipped Feta Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic , minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra -virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Place the crumbled feta and Greek yogurt into a food processor or high-powered blender.
  2. Add the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  3. Process the mixture on high speed for approximately 2 minutes until completely smooth and aerated.
  4. Stop to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure no lumps remain.
  5. Add the dried oregano and black pepper, then pulse 3-4 times to incorporate.
  6. Transfer to a serving bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the texture to set before serving.
