Gently mix by hand until the ingredients are evenly distributed, taking care not to overwork the meat.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties approximately 3/4-inch thick.
Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
Place the patties in the pan and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove the burgers from the heat and allow them to rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Assemble the burgers on toasted brioche buns with preferred toppings.
